Only windows mobile and Symbian S60 mobiles are supported right now. iPhone, gPhone versions are under development. Please check the web site later to find the availability of your mobile.

How can I know if I install Hesine Application successfully? |

If Hesine Application is installed successfully, you will receive Hesine welcome message in 10 minutes. If you do not receive the welcome message, please power cycle your mobile and wait for a couple of minutes to see if you can receive welcome message. If you still could not get the welcome message, please follow the steps here. 1: make sure date and time on your mobile is set correctly, 2: make sure you can visit any web sites from your mobile web browser. If it still does not work, please send mail to support@hesine.com |

Why my mobile’s data connection is always on after I install Hesine App? |

Hesine App requires always-on data connection on your mobile. Otherwise, the message could not be pushed to your mobile in real time. If you want to disconnect the data connection, you have to stop Hesine or uninstall it. |

Does it mean the data is transferred to/from mobile when data connection is on? |

No. If you don’t send/receive new messages, data won’t be transferred to/from mobile. But very minimum heart beat messages will be transferred for every half hour to one hour. |

Why data volume is not zero even I don’t send/receive any messages? |

To keep the data connection always on, Hesine application sends heart beat messages (8 bytes) to the network every half to one hour. In addition, if data connection is lost somehow, the mobile will register to the network again. In good wireless data coverage, it will consume less than 100K bytes data for the heat beat messages. |

Is there any impact on mobile’s standby time？ |

Yes, Hesine application has impact on mobile’s standby time. But the impact is very small, since Hesine has its own key technology and innovation to save battery’s life. |

How do I send message via Hesine? |

For windows mobile, select message->Hesine, then select “new message”. For symbian phone, select message->new message, then choose Hesine. In the address book, select a phone number, you can write message via Hesine. In the picture viewer, you can send the picture via Hesine. |

How do I receive message via Hesine? |

As long as you do not stop Hesine or uninstall it, when a new Hesine message is received, you will get the same notification as standard text message. Then you can view, forward, reply and reply all. |

How do I send message to overseas friend? |

For overseas mobile number, when you compose message via Hesine, the right format for mobile number must be “+ country code local number”. For example, if you want to send a message to a friend in China from US, the number must be something like +8613911118888. The initial layout of Hesine editor will only show filed TO and body zone. But if you moves up, you can set subject, CC and BCC field like email. |

What’s the email address configured for me by Hesine? |

Once you install Hesine app successfully, Hesine will set up an email account for you automatically. The email address is country-code + mobile number @ Hesine.com. For example, for mobile number +18479801111, the corresponding mail address is 18479801111@hesine.com. Please remember no “+” before the number, since some email server does not treat it as valid. |

Why I could not open some attachment? |

Hesine application is just responsible for message transportation. Hesine app uses the built-in mobile application to open the attachment. If the mobile itself could not open a file with special format, you could not open it from Hesine app. You can try to search Internet to find third party tools to open the file. |

For push mail service, what public mail accounts are supported? |

Hesine supports POP3/IMAP. Up to now, it supports gmail, yahoo, sina, sohu, 126.com and many other accounts. If your email account if not supported, please send your POP3/SMTP configuration information to support@hesine.com. |

Hesine provides PUSH mail service. Once you have new message, Hesine will pushed it into your mobile in timely manner and you can view/reply/forward it right away. For the standard mail configured in your mobile, you have to manually retrieve mail from server or set up a polling timer. |
